GETTING BETTER WITH MEDITATION

Do you want to feel more serene, less anxious, calm your mind, quiet the voices in your head, find inner peace or tranquility, let go, feel less stress, be in the present moment or sleep better?

 

Meditation can help you achieve these goals. Millions of people around the world practice meditation and say it fundamentally changes the way they live. And the health benefits are scientifically proven. What's more, meditation fosters the development of confidence, patience, gratitude and joy, and helps you to accept things as they are.

 

With practice, you'll learn to replace your ruminations of the past or anxieties about the future with an anchoring in the present moment, to regulate the endless stream of thoughts that sustains anxiety, to calm your mind and savor the fullness of the present moment. Meditation trains our mind to redirect our thoughts, tame our emotions and understand our bodily sensations for better balance and rejuvenation.

Accessible to anyone, meditation is a simple (but not easy, as it requires a certain amount of effort) practice for developing attention, calming the mind and learning to listen to oneself. No previous experience is necessary.

​WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

In 8 2-hour sessions combining theory, practice and sharing, this program will enable you to learn how to meditate and use mindfulness meditation in your personal and professional life.

You'll discover how to replace judgments (of yourself and/or others) with curiosity and kindness, develop patience and trust (in yourself and in life), learn to let go (of what annoys you, annoys you, worries you, is energy-consuming) and gradually come to accept things as they are.

All this takes a little regular effort and commitment. It's like learning a new language, or a new activity like pottery or golf - you can't learn it in a single session, in an hour, on your own. We'll look at the power of presence, attention, emotions, connection, intention and conscious communication. And we'll see how to use meditation to bring about transformations in your daily life, and how to integrate it into your routine.

Meditation is a training that helps us redirect our thoughts and better manage our emotions. It enables us to keep our attention on what's most important to us, at all times, with peace, clarity and joy.

Between practice, sharing and theory, this is a warm, authentic moment, both with yourself (and in a small group for collective programs). I bring you my full presence, my active listening and my kindness. You commit to regular practice.

MY GUIDANCE

I'm your facilitator. My name is Sonia Kofman, pharmacist, I've been navigating the world of well-being and health for thirty years. After several years in San Francisco and a career change, I am now a certified professional coach, specializing in emotional intelligence coaching and the practice of mindfulness meditation.

My intention is to help human beings be happier through better health.

I offer practices in French and English.

FACE-TO-FACE GROUP PROGRAM

  • 2025 program dates and times: 8 Wednesdays from 5pm to 7pm.

    • WINTER PROGRAM 2025 from Wednesday, February 5, 2025 to Wednesday, March 26, 2025. The dates of the 8 sessions are Wednesdays February 5, 12, 19 and 26 and Wednesdays March 5, 12, 19 and 26.

    • SPRING PROGRAM 2025 from Wednesday, May 21, 2025 to Wednesday, July 16, 2025. The dates of the 8 sessions are Wednesdays May 21 and 28; Wednesdays June 4, 11 and 25; and Wednesdays July 2, 9 and 16.

    • FALL 2025 program from Wednesday, September 10, 2025 to Wednesday, November 5, 2025. The dates of the 8 sessions are Wednesdays September 10 and 17; Wednesdays October 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 and Wednesday November 5.

  • Location: Le Manoir Hôtel**** 2170 Av. du Golf, 62520 Le Touquet-Paris-Plage.

  • Group size: 2 to 6 participants.

  • Clothing and equipment: Comfortable clothing. Bring a notebook for taking notes. For this initiation, meditation practices are seated on a chair; it is not necessary to bring a mat or zafu.

  • Price: 400 euros

  • If you don't live in the area and are interested, please contact me, as I plan to offer this program via videoconference in the near future.

  • For companies, please contact me. I also offer this program for professional purposes.

  • This program is also aimed at certified professional coaches who wish to learn mindfulness meditation for the development of their professional practice.
