MINDFULNESS SESSIONS
THE PRACTICE
Meditation trains our mind to redirect our thoughts, welcome our emotions and be more present to our body and breath for better balance, decision-making, confidence and mental hygiene. Meditation is a simple practice for developing attention in the present moment, calming oneself, letting go and learning to listen to oneself. It leads to inner serenity, greater energy, mental well-being and better sleep. Beyond the pleasure of enjoying a moment to yourself, it's about experiencing the present moment, without judgment, in awareness.
Mindfulness meditation is a simple practice, and not an easy one, because we're not used to paying attention to ourselves, to “being”. If anything, society's injunctions have pushed us away from ourselves. We've learned to focus on “doing” or “having”. With the practice of meditation, we learn to calm ourselves, to listen to ourselves and to develop our attention on our attention, without judgment, with intention, in the present moment. No experience is necessary. Accessible to all.
In sitting meditation, attention is usually focused on the breath. There are, however, different forms of mindfulness meditation, such as focusing on sounds.
WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE

The hour of mindfulness meditation together unfolds as follows:

Brief introduction/reminder on the meditation practice or theme of the day.

Two 10-15 minute guided practices on different themes such as conscious breathing, body scan, let go, trust, compassion, self-love, simplifying, connecting with others, mental disconnect, etc.

Discussion of the practice.

Sharing feelings and answering questions.
Between practice, sharing and a little theory, this is a warm, authentic moment, both with yourself and in a small group. I bring you my full presence, my listening skills and my kindness.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND THESE MEDITATION SESSIONS?
For anyone wishing to practice mindfulness meditation.

If you'd like to discover meditation on your own, with friends, as a couple or as a family, and spend an hour with yourself or your loved ones, in total serenity, and leave with tools and a sense of calm.

If you'd like to discover meditation before embarking on a mindfulness initiation program.

You already practice meditation and would like to maintain your practice, or practice in a group.

You've just completed a mindfulness initiation program and would like to continue in group practice.
These formal sessions enable you to maintain your practice with regularity, on a one-off basis or over time, to go further, to share together, to benefit from the energy of the group, and from my guidance and support in your practice. You can choose to come once or on a regular basis.
MY GUIDANCE
I'm your facilitator. My name is Sonia Kofman, Pharmacist, I've been navigating the world of health and well-being for thirty years. After several years in San Francisco and a change of career, I'm now a certified professional coach, specializing in emotional intelligence coaching and transmitting the practice of mindfulness meditation.

Date / time: All year 2025, Mondays from 10am to 11am.

Location: Indoors, at Le Manoir Hôtel**** 2170 Av. du Golf, 62520 Le Touquet-Paris-Plage

Group size: 1 to 10 participants.

Clothing: Comfortable clothing. Practice takes place in a seated position on a chair. Depending on your level of experience, you can practice on a yoga mat or with a zafu, which you can bring along.

Rates: 20€ (regular rate) - 25€ (support rate) - 15€ ( reduced rate). I'll let you choose according to your means. Payment is by bank transfer on registration. I'll email you my IBAN when you register. Cash payment on site is possible, please let me know when you register. Unfortunately, some people register and don't come when payment is made on site.

When the weather is suitable for outdoor practice, it can take place in the golf gardens as a walking meditation.
If the proposed time slot does not suit you and you are interested, please contact me. I also offer meditation sessions at Thalassa Sea & Spa Le Touquet, as well as other locations at specific times, such as Clinique Les Drags Soins de Suite et de Réadaptation, Holiday Inn, Villa La Crête des Dunes, or I can come to your home in Le Touquet or the surrounding area, for individual or group sessions (individuals, companies, corporate seminars, schools, universities).
